How This Works
Getting Started
You can reach us by email or via our contact page and we’ll do our best to respond within 24-48 hours about our availability to schedule an intake session. You can also take a look at our therapist bios and see if you think one of us may be a good fit - feel free to contact any therapist directly. It's helpful to know how you heard about us, your general availability for appointments (time of day/days of week), and what (if any) insurance you have.
Fees
You have the option to self-pay or to use your insurance. We bill in-network insurance providers at our contracted rate (Blue Cross / Blue Shield PPO & United Behavioral Health / Optum PPO plans). If we are out of network with your insurance company, we can bill you up front for the cost of the session and provide you with a superbill for you to directly seek out of network compensation with your insurance company. We encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to verify your benefits and to find out what is covered.
For self-pay clients, our fees are as follows:
Intake Session: $180
Therapy Session: $150
Senior Clinician - Intake Session: $200
Senior Clinician - Therapy Session: $175
Clinical Supervision - $175
**senior clinicians include Amanda, Stephanie, Julia, & Sarah
First Session
Before your first session, your therapist will send you a link to fill out paperwork on our virtual portal. Come to our office at 1803 N California. Your therapist will give you the code to come in the front door. Make yourself at home in the waiting area and help yourself to coffee or tea. Your therapist will come out to get you when it's time to meet. Sessions are generally 45-60 minutes in length.
Parking & Transportation
There is abundant street parking on California Ave. We are 3-4 blocks south of the California Blue Line stop and right off a California bus stop.
Online Portal
If you have a virtual appointment or your therapist has requested you fill out paperwork virtually, please use our portal.
