Getting Started

You can reach us by email or via our contact page and we’ll do our best to respond within 24-48 hours about our availability to schedule an intake session. You can also take a look at our therapist bios and see if you think one of us may be a good fit - feel free to contact any therapist directly. It's helpful to know how you heard about us, your general availability for appointments (time of day/days of week), and what (if any) insurance you have.

First Session

Before your first session, your therapist will send you a link to fill out paperwork on our virtual portal. Come to our office at 1803 N California - there is abundant free street parking along California. Your therapist will give you the code to come in the front door. Make yourself at home in the waiting area and help yourself to coffee or tea. Your therapist will come out to get you when it's time to meet. Sessions are generally 45-60 minutes in length.

Fees

You have the option to self-pay or to use your insurance. We bill in-network insurance providers at our contracted rate (Blue Cross / Blue Shield PPO & United Behavioral Health / Optum PPO plans). We encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to verify your benefits and to find out what is covered.

If we are out-of-network for your insurance company, we are happy to provide you with a statement so that you can ask your insurance to reimburse you for some of your cost. For self-pay clients, our full fee per session is $150. We are glad to offer sliding scale services to clients in need.

If you have a virtual appointment or your therapist has requested you fill out paperwork virtually, please use our portal.
